Fitness and powerlifting drew my attention at six years old. My grandmothers, mom and cousin were very active in fitness. I first saw a real gym at six years old (1986). Freshman year of high school(1994), the bar and I fell in love. Age 18 (19988) freshman year in college, I began lifting like a mad man. Current day, gym fitness is a HUGE part of my life.
After years of lifting during high school, college, leading into my 20s, 30s, now my 40s, fitness teaches discipline and dedication. Lessons I input into all aspects of my life. With years of gym experience, I was ready for more. Competing in powerlifting was a deeply desired goal. Gym fitness and Powerlifting will always be the foundation of my life.
Teaching, competing, simply giving back is my mission in powerlifting. While I work tireless to become a successful powerlifter, I want to help and encourage other along the way. Does my example motivate you, let me help you succeed in gym fitness and powerlifting.
