🏋️♂️ My Journey: Forged in Iron Since Age Six
Fitness and powerlifting have been part of my story since childhood. At just six years old, I stepped into my first gym with my father—wide-eyed and inspired by the strength and discipline of my grandmothers, mom, and cousin, all deeply rooted in fitness. That moment in 1986 lit a spark.
By freshman year of high school (1994), I found my calling. The barbell and I connected instantly—it wasn’t just training, it was transformation. At 18, during my first year of college (1998), I trained like a man possessed. The iron became my outlet, my obsession, my forge.
Today, gym life isn’t just a routine—it’s a cornerstone of who I am. Powerlifting is my discipline, my therapy, and my platform for growth. Decades later, I still chase strength with the same fire I had as a kid. Only now, I carry the wisdom, grit, and purpose that come with the journey.
Powerlifting isn’t just my passion—it’s my purpose. Teaching, competing, and giving back are the pillars of my mission. While I train relentlessly to become the best lifter I can be, I’m equally committed to helping others rise alongside me.
If my journey inspires you, let’s turn that spark into action. Whether you’re chasing your first PR or building lifelong strength, I’m here to guide, encourage, and push you toward your goals. Fitness is the forge—and together, we build greatness.
